Cut the yarn, leaving a tail long enough to work one
more round and sew. Do not fasten off, instead put
a stitch marker in your loop to prevent your crochetwork from fraying.
MAKING POSEABLE ARMS: We will now insert
wire and stuffing into the arm. Measure the length of the first arm, the area above the chest where the wire
will go through the body, and the second arm, and
add an additional inch. This is the total length of wire
needed for both arms (see Image 01).
With a wire cutter, bend one end to make an eyelet.
Wrap with a masking tape as shown in Image 02.
Insert this end into the first arm and stuff around it
lightly (Image 03). You can use a crochet hook or the
end of a pencil as a stuffing tool.
Round 25: dec X 5, sl st in the last st (Image 04). (6)
Fasten off. Thread the yarn tail onto your yarn needle,
pick up the front loop only of these 6 stitches (Image
05) and pull tight to close the hole. Fasten off but do
not cut off excess yarn.
Count down 11 rounds from the top of the neck and
insert the other end of the wire from this point. Push
the wire all the way through to the other side where
the second arm will be attached (Image 06). Bend the
tip into an eyelet, wrap with a masking tape, insert it
into the second arm and stuff lightly. Complete Round
25, fasten off the second arm and sew the top of the
second arm closed.
Now pass the needle with remaining yarn tail all the
way from the underarm to the neck and bring it out
from the tip of the neck. Repeat on the second arm.
Tie these two tails together and snip off excess yarn.

Round 23: (sc 5, dec) X 8. (48)
Round 24: (sc 4, dec) X 8.(40)
Round 25: (sc 3, dec) X 8. (32)
Round 26: (sc 2, dec) X 8. (24)
Round 27: dec X 12. (12)
Stuff head firmly while leaving some space in the
center for neck that will be inserted later. To do this,
you can push your finger inside and create a groove
by carefully shifting the stuffing around. Check to see
if the neck fits the opening in the head. If the fit is
not snug, decrease one or two stitches and fasten off.
Weave in yarn end.
EYES:
Mark a stitch between Round 17 and 18 with
a pearl headed pin. Count 9 stitches horizontally and
place the second marker. This is where the eyes will be
placed. Thread a yarn needle with light brown/peach
yarn and insert it from the neck opening in the head,
bringing it out at one of the marked points). Insert
needle through the back of the sew on eye and push
it back in from the same st, bringing it out from the
second marked point. Insert needle through the back
of the second sew on eye and push it back in from
the same st and out from the neck opening. Pull both
ends of the yarn tightly to create a bit of indentation
on the face. Once you are satisfied with the look, knot
yarn ends to secure. Clip off excess yarn and hide the
knot inside the head.
NOSE:
Sew 3 straight lines, 3-4 stitches long between
the eyes.

the inside of the magic ring to the base of the fringes

excess yarn.
FINISHING UP;
Embellishing wings with embroidery:
You can
either leave the wings as they are, or you can embellish them with a bit of embroidery before you attach
wings to the body. To do this, make long stitches
around the wings with yellow crochet thread or embroidery floss as shown in Image 22.
Decorating Wings with Rhinestones:
If you
prefer to add a little sparkle to your angel’s wings with
rhinestones, you can do it after the wings are attached
to the body.
Mark the locations for the rhinestones as shown in
Image 23. Apply a dab of adhesive on the back of the
stone with a toothpick and place into position. Press
down gently to make sure they stick to the wing.
Leave aside for a while to dry completely.
Attach wings:
Pin the wing on the angel’s back and
sew in place, making sure to sew a couple of additional stitches that go through both the wing and the body
to hold the wing in place (Image 24-27).
Attach collar to the dress:
Pin collar around the
neck as shown in Image 28-29, making sure they
drape the shoulders as well. With a yarn needle,
attach the front of the collar right over the area where
the white round of the dress meets the round in light
brown/peach. Next make a couple of stitches over
the shoulder area (top of arms), and finally sew at the
base of the neck. Keep the collar loose to enable your
amigurumi’s limbs to move.
Make movable head:
To make the head of your
amigurumi movable, thread light brown/peach yarn
and insert the needle from the center of the magic
ring on the head (Image 30) and out from the neck
opening (Image 31). Count 8 rounds down from the
top of the neck. Now insert your needle through the
neck at this point (Image 32), back through the neck
opening on the head (Image 33), bringing it out from
the magic ring again (Image 34). Slide the head down
the two strands of yarn until it sits perfectly on the
neck (Image 35). Knot the yarn ends together a few
times to secure and clip off excess yarn. Push any
remaining yarn back into the head.
Attach hair:
Slip hair piece on the head and lock in
place using pearl headed pins (Image 36). With a yarn
needle, sew the piece to head. Make sure to attach
the fringes to the head as well.
Attach pigtails/buns:
Position the pigtails/buns
on either side of the head and hold them in place with
pearl headed pins. Using the tail of the yarn, sew in
place.
Sash:
Tie a silver/golden ribbon around the waist and
make a bow at the back.
