Materials Needed:
Approximately 30g of solid-colored yarn for the snail’s body.

Amigurumi Snail Horns (2 pieces):
1: Create 2 ch, crochet 6 sc in the second chain from the hook, or 6 sc in a magic ring.
2: Increase in each stitch around (12 sc).
3-4: Crochet 12 sc.
5: Place a bead inside and decrease 6 times (6 sc).
6-9: Crochet 6 sc in each round, at the end, sl st, cut the thread, and secure it.
Amigurumi Snail Head and Body:
Stuff the head and body as you crochet.
1: Create 2 ch, crochet 6 sc in the second chain from the hook.
2: Increase by crocheting 2 sc in each sc from the previous row, repeat 6 times (12 sc).
3: 1 sc, inc, repeat 6 times (18 sc).
4: 2 sc, inc, repeat 6 times (24 sc).
5: 3 sc, inc, repeat 6 times (30 sc).
6: 4 sc, inc, repeat 6 times (36 sc).

12: 4 sc, dec, repeat 6 times (30 sc).
13: 3 sc, dec, repeat 6 times (24 sc).

16-17: Crochet 12 sc in each row.

Attention

Cuff (Mantle):
52: Crochet 28 sc in the front loops only, turn.
53: Create 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, repeat to the end, turn.
54: Create 1 ch, sc to the end, and so on for 5-6 more rows until the desired cuff width is reached. Make slip stitches on the sides of the cuff where indicated to ensure even sides.
Amigurumi Snail Assembly:
Sew the shell onto the snail’s back.
Amigurumi Snail Nose:
1: Create 2 ch, crochet 6 sc in the second chain from the hook (6 sc).
2: Increase in each stitch (12 sc).
3: Decrease 6 times (6 sc).
Thread a piece of yarn through the 6 sc, tighten, fasten off, and sew the nose onto the snail’s face.
Sew on the horns, beads for the eyes, embroider the mouth, and optionally embroider the eyebrows.
