MEASUREMENTS

Approx 10″ x [25.5 cm] long x 9″ [23 cm] diameter, excluding feet and ears.

BODY

Beg at head, with MC, ch 2.

1st rnd: 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook, placing marker on rst st for beg of rnd. Do not join. 8 sc.

2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 16 sc.

FEET (make 4)

With MC, ch 5. Working in spiral as for Body, proceed as follows:

1st rnd: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Place marker on last st for beg of rnd. 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 3 sc
in last ch. Working across opposite side of foundation ch, 1 sc in each of next 2 ch. 2 sc in last ch. Do not join. 10 sc.

2nd rnd: 1 sc in each of rst 4 sc. 3 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 3 sc in last sc. 14 sc.

3rd to 10th rnds: 1 sc in each sc around. Fasten off. Stu Feet lightly.

OUTER EAR (make 2)

With MC, ch 5.

1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 1 sc in each ch to end of chain. Turn. 4 sc.

2nd row: Ch 1. 2 sc in rst sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 6 sc.

3rd and 4th rows: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.

5th row: Ch 1. 2 sc in rst sc. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 8 sc.

6th and 7th rows: As 3rd and 4th rows.

8th row: Ch 1. 2 sc in rst sc. 1 sc in each of next 6 sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn. 10 sc.

9th to 20th rows: Ch 1. 1 sc in each sc to end of row. Turn.

21st row: Ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 6 sc. Sc2tog. Turn. 8 sts.

22nd row: Ch 1. Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 4 sc. Sc2tog. Turn. 6 sts.

INNER EAR (make 2)

With A, work as given for Outer Ear. Join Ears: Holding one Inner Ear and one Outer Ear tog with WS facing each other, join MC with sl st to bottom right corner of Ear. Ch 1. Working through both thicknesses, work sc evenly up right side of Ear, having 3 sc in tip of Ear, then down left side. Fasten off.

TAIL

With MC, ch 2. Working in spiral as for Body, proceed as follows:

1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 6 sc.

2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 12 sc.

3rd rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around 18 sc.

4th rnd: *2 sc in next sc. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around 24 sc.

5th to 9th rnds: 1 sc in each sc around.

10th rnd: *Sc2tog. 1 sc in each of next 2 sc. Rep from * around 18 sc.

11th rnd: *Sc2tog. 1 sc in next sc. Rep from * around 12 sc. Stu Tail lightly.

12th rnd: *Sc2tog. Rep from * around. 6 sc. Fasten off. Draw end through rem sts and fasten securely.

FINISHING

Sew Ears, Feet and Tail to Body as seen in photo. Sew Ears tog 1″ [2.5 cm] up from bottom. With black yarn, embroider eyes using satin stitch and eyebrows using straight stitch. With black yarn, make 3 stitches around bottom of each foot to create claws. With A, embroider mouth and nose using straight stitch.
