SYMBOLS
magic ring – amigurumi ring
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (we knit two single crochets into one loop)
dec – decrease (we knit two loops together)
dc- column with 1 crochet
hdc – half-column with 1 crochet
sl-st – connecting post

WE KNIT THE BASIS
I want to note right away that all loop calculations are given for a ball with a diameter of 5 cm and yarn with a thickness of approximately 320-330 m per 100 g.
Hook 1.75 mm firm “Gamma”. If you have other sizes warps, hook sizes, yarn, number of rows and loops
may differ. Knit so that the knitted part is not too loose, not dangling on the ball, but not too sat tight, because in the future we will need to hide the ends threads in the gap between the ball and the knitted cover.
We knit the columns for both walls of the loop, if not indicated the opposite.
From the fourth row to get not a hexagon, but an even circle, in rows with increases and decreases, I recommend in at the beginning of the row, knit one offset loop, in the calculations this
loop not specified.
Useful materials and diagrams can be found at the end.

BASE from smooth yarn for a ball with a diameter of 5 cm:

  1. 6 sc in the magic ring, tighten the ring. Next, knit in a spiral without lifting loops.
  2. inc*6 (12)
  3. (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)
  4. (2 sc, inc) * 6 (24)
  5. (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30)
  6. (4 sc, inc) * 6 (36)
  7. (5 sc, inc) * 6 (42)
We check if our diameter is sufficient for our base.
Apply to the ball. When viewed from above, the ball is not must protrude beyond the boundaries of the bound circle or protrude slightly.
Next, we knit evenly, without decreases and additions. Can use marker. I use the end as a marker
the thread left after tightening the magic ring.
    8-14. Seven rows of 42 sc (42).

Next, we need to close the rest of the ball by knitting
reduction rows. To do this, we put our part on the base ball and knit immediately on the ball. I made invisible
reductions (see Appendix).

  1. (5 sc, dec) * 6 (36)
  2. (4 sc, dec) * 6 (30)
  3. (3 sc, dec) * 6 (24)
  4. (2 sc, dec) * 6 (18)
  5. (1 sc, dec) * 6 (12)
  6. (1 sc, dec) * 4 (8)
Next, break the thread, insert it into the needle and tighten
    remaining loops.

BASIS from Softy:

  1. 8 sc in magic ring (8)
  2. inc*8 (16)
  3. (1 sc, inc) * 8 (24)
  4. (3 sc, inc) * 6 (30)
  5. (4 sc, inc) * 6 (36)
    6-12. 6 rows of 36 sc (36)
  6. (4 sc, dec) * 6 (30)
  7. (3 sc, dec) * 6 (24)
  8. (2 sc, dec) * 6 (18)
  9. dec*9 (9)
Here are the basics we got:
1 and 5 we knit entirely from white yarn (Santa Claus and Snow Maiden). Similarly, you can tie the base for the Snowman from smooth yarn. We knit in the first part of the MK.
2 – the basis for the Mumps (in the first part of the MK).
3 – the basis of the Softy yarn for the Snowman.
4 – the basis for the Penguin. We start in black or dark blue yarn (12 rows). Next, change the thread to white and knit the 13th row behind the back wall of the loops, we knit the next rows (14-20) for both half loops.
6 – the basis for the Deer, we knit brown, beige or gray
    yarn.
7 – base-bonus (in the first part of the MC).

DECORATION “DEER”
NOSE (we knit with a red thread, hook 1.75, I used yarn Pekhorka Gentle 50% cotton, 50% acrylic, 165 m, 50 g.):

  1. 6 sc in magic ring (6)
  2. inc*6 (12)
  3. (inc, 2 sc) * 4 (16)
    4-5. Two rows of 16 sc (16)
  4. dec*8 (8)
Break the thread, leaving the end for sewing, a little fill the spout with filler or put a bead inside.
Cut out eyes from a piece of felt – one detail (shape see the details in the photo), sew the pupils-beads. Sew on with a black sewing thread of the eye to the base, imitating eyelashes, do not
breaking the thread, embroider the eyebrows. We fix the thread, hide inside.
Sew on the nose. We embroider a wide smile with one long stitch just under the spout. Toning cheeks.

EARS (2 parts, knit with the same thread that knitted the base ball, hook 1.75):

  1. 6 sc in magic ring (6)
  2. (inc, 1 sc) * 3 (9)
  3. (inc, 2 sc) * 3 (12)
  4. 12 sc (12)
  5. (1 sc, inc) * 6 (18)
    6-8. Three rows of 18 sc (18)
  6. (4 sc, dec) * 3 (15)
  7. (3 sc, dec) * 3 (12)
Break the thread, leave the end, insert the thread into the needle and, having folded the ear, sew the fold. Sew the ears to the base.

HORNS:
We take one wire, about 30 cm long. We stretch it under several rows of knitted warp between the ears so that.
Each side has equal segments. Then we attach the shape of our horns. I bent the wire according to the diagram in the picture, slightly scrolling the wire around itself. End of wire (segment 8 in the figure) we hide under the base. The second horn is bent into mirror image.

From the bottom of the base we skip the tape, at one end of the tape put on a bell, move it to the center and tie node. Then we tie the ends of the ribbon into a bow.

SNOWMAN DECORATION
For the snowman, we will knit a striped cap and a carrot nose.
If anyone has a plastic carrot, you can use it.
Cap (red yarn Pekhorka Gentle 50% cotton, 50% acrylic, 165 m, 50 g, green – acrylic without suitable label
thickness, hook 1.75). We knit in a circle, closing each row connecting column, alternate colors, starting with green:

  1. 8 dc (column with 1 crochet) in magic ring (8 green thread)
  2. 8 dc (8 green thread) (approx, 1 dc)*4 (12)
  3. 12 dc (12) (approx, 2 dc)*4 (16) 6.16 dc (16)
  4. (approx, 3 dc)*4 (20) 8.20dc (20)
  5. (1 dc, approx)*10 (30)
  6. (2 dc, approx)*10 (40)
  7. (4 dc, approx)*8 (48)
We tie with a magnificent “crustacean step” (I made 4 yarn overs),
We break the thread, leaving the end for sewing. How to knit a magnificent “crawler step” is shown in the Appendix. Carrot (I have Pekhorka Children’s novelty 100% acrylic high volume, 200 m, 50 g, hook 1.75):
  8. 5 sc in magic ring (5)
  9. inc, 4 sc (6)

10. inc, 5 sc (7)
11. inc, 6 sc (8)
Break the thread, leave the end for sewing.

Sew the cap to the base. The same green thread in a pair stitches sew the tip of the cap, bending it down. On the the cap is sewn on a bell. Sew a string on top ring with a few tight stitches. If you have a lace with
carabiner, you can simply hook on the posts and fasten carabiner clasp. We sew the lace so that the toy does not collapsed and the ball hung straight.

Approximately in the center of our ball we sew a carrot.
With black sewing thread we embroider eyes, eyebrows, eyelashes, smile.
We tint the face of our snowman.
Tie a ribbon at the bottom and tie it into a bow.

DECORATION “PENGUIN”
Let me remind you how we knitted the basis for the Penguin. Begin black or dark blue yarn (12 rows). Next, change the thread on the white and 13th row we knit for the back wall of the loops, the following
rows (14-20) knit for both half loops.
So, for the remaining free half-loops we will knit wings and ponytail. We knit with the same dark thread, which started knitting the base of the ball (I have YarnArt Jeans 55% cotton 45% polyacrylic, 160 m, 50 g)

WINGS (2 pieces, knit in rotary rows, decrease go due to the fact that we do not knit 1 column in
each row)

  1. 9 sc, clinging to the free half loops of the warp, turn
  2. 8 sc, turn
  3. 7 sc, turn
  4. 6 sc, turn
  5. 5 sc, turn
  6. 4 sc, turn
  7. 3 sc, turn
  8. 2 sc, turn
  9. 1 sc. Pull the thread, fasten, leave the thread for
    sewing

Tie the second wing, retreating along the back of the base 11
free half loops.

On these 11 loops we will knit a TAIL:

  1. 11 sc for free half loops between wings, turn
  2. 10 sc, turn
  3. 9 sc, turn
  4. 8 sc, turn
  5. 7 sc, turn
  6. 6 sc, turn
  7. 5 sc, turn
  8. 2 sc, dec (3) turn
  9. dec (1)
Pull the thread, fasten, sew the tail only at the top parts on the right and left, leaving the sharp tip free.
Sew on the ends of the wings.

BEAK (Pekhorka Children’s novelty 100% acrylic high-volume, 200 m, 50 g, hook 1.75), knit in a spiral:

  1. 8 sc in magic ring(8)
    2.inc*8 (16)
  2. 16 sc (16)
Leave the end of the thread for sewing, sew, folding in half, in the center of the front of the ball.

PAWS, 2 pcs. (Pekhorka Children’s novelty 100% acrylic high volume, 200 m, 50 g, hook 1.75):
Work 10 dc (single crochet) in magic ring, lock off connecting column in a circle, fold in half, sew in
the bottom of the base between the wings.
For the eyes, cut out small ovals from felt, sew pupil beads, sew or glue eyes on the sides of
beak.
Embroider eyebrows with white thread.
Fasten the string on top. I have with a carbine, I just hooked a few posts with a clasp and fastened a carabiner.
